Privacy Policy

Playbit (“we”, “us”, or “the site”) operates playbit.win, a collection of free, open-source browser games. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

• Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand traffic (page views, referrers, country, device type). It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies and does not collect or store any information that personally identifies you.
• No accounts. Playbit does not require you to sign up or log in, and we do not ask for your name, email, or other personal details to play.
• In-browser game saves. Some games store progress, settings, or high scores in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
• Server logs. Our host (Cloudflare) may process standard technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site securely. This is handled by Cloudflare under its own privacy terms.

Cookies and advertising

Playbit itself does not set tracking cookies. If and when we display advertising, we intend to use Google AdSense. In that case:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to Playbit and other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

Embedded games

Most games are hosted by Playbit directly. A small number are embedded from the original developer’s website. Those third-party pages may set their own cookies or collect data under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and analytics.
• Google AdSense — advertising (when enabled).
• Original game hosts — for the few externally embedded games.

Children’s privacy

Playbit is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Your choices

• Opt out of personalised ads using the links above.
• Clear your browser’s local storage to remove saved game data.
• Use your browser’s cookie and privacy controls to block third-party cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
